As I mentioned, October is proving to be a very busy (but fun) month :)
Pilobolus last Saturday was amazing! If they're performing in your area anytime soon, I highly recommend checking them out. I feel like even people that don't normal go to dance performances would still enjoy it.
Sunday was the Foster the People concert. Doors were opening at 7pm so I assumed they would start playing around 8:30 or so. Not even close! They had two opening acts, so the main act didn't start until 10:00pm. I wasn't really trying to stay out so late on a Sunday night, but the concert was great!
Monday and Wednesday I attended some interesting lectures put on by Town Hall Seattle. I'm so glad I found out about this place! It's pretty close to my house and they have all sort of scientific, artistic, and cultural events (mostly for $5). I guess I should also mention that I did not attend these lectures alone. The boy from last weekend is actually the one who told me about them.
That puts us up to a total of 3 dates. Historically, 3 seems to be a common breaking point. A few of you may remember "comic book" guy and of course, "critter control" guy, and more recently there was "flesh-colored beard" guy. All of them made it to 3, but no further. (Date #4 is schedule with this new boy for tomorrow....)
Tonight my friend Ashley has her aerial student showcase. She's been doing silks and trapeze at Emerald City for about a year and I super excited to go see her perform. Taking more aerial classes is definitely on my to-do list and it seems like a good indoor, winter activity. I'm going to have to start thinking of more of those...
Good luck on Date #4! Your social life is so busy and interesting. I'm insanely jealous!
