Since Valentine's Day was last week I thought it was only fitting to share a few of the latest dating stories. I had taken a long break from online dating but last month I decided to give it another go. As usual, the results have been less than promising;
- Two separate guys messaged me only to ask for career advice or stock tips
- A 23 year-old Brazilian boy messaged me. His six "must haves" in life from his profile included: weed, parties, beer, and sex. No thanks.
- A married man (who's profile said he was single) messaged me to see if I was interested in having an affair with him. His emails started off rather innocuously, so it took several messages back and forth before I figured out what he was up to and I had to specifically ask him if he was married.
I actually met up with a couple of guys in person too;
- An Indian guy that works at Amazon. This town seems to be flooded with them, so I figured I might as well give it a try. Mheh... not so much.
- An Israeli guy who directs and produces tv commercials. When will I ever learn?? When their profile says 5'7" that really means 5'5". Oh, well, I don't think he got my sense of humor anyhow. When he was talking about the rain in Israel and I made a bible joke about flooding that didn't go over particularly well.
One of these days something is bound to pan out... or else I'll just get cats ;)
haha oh Amanda...Seattle seems to have a dim selection of weirdos :/ I thought there would be a much better selection!
