Waiting...

Grrrrr!  I can hardly stand it anymore!  After my interview last week the hiring lady emailed and said I should be hearing back by mid this week... and today is Thursday.  I just called to bug her and she said they were still "making some follow up calls" but that maybe by tomorrow they will know something.  Then she asked me if I was still interested?  Uh, duh!!!  Why else would I be calling you?

At least now I have a really exciting distraction to keep me occupied.  My big brother is coming to visit!  After chatting a little on Wednesday, he decided to leave Thursday morning and drive up here from LA.  I was really looking forward to it until I turned on the Today show this morning and they were doing a whole segment on April Fools jokes... and Alexis is supposed to arrive Friday, April 1st.  Hmmmm, I was feeling a little suspicious, but then I got a call from the road and he is on his way!

Yay for my very first visitor, but now I'd better stop procrastinating and get moving with all that unpacking.  I've still got plenty of work to do since going from 1600 sq ft (+ basement and attic) down to 700 sq ft is not easy to adjust to, but things are coming together :)

Not as good as the "closet room" in the old house, but still not too bad
